2022

Happy 2022, friends!

In the words of David Alan Harvey, “Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.”. For 2022, this phrase is my moto; my camera and I are beyond ready to capture beautiful moments and milestones this new year.

I wanted to share a few goals going into the New Year:

My first goal for this year is posting in more detail about sessions and behind the scenes. There is tedious and in-depth detail(s) that goes into ensuring high-end/quality portraits (which clients deserve to receive). Also, I want to build a rapport with clients and potential clients; running a photography business is not about the finances, but instead is everything to do with lifelong friendships and familyships.

My second goal is to build clentele and rapport with clients like never before. After my grandfather passed away in September of2020, I photographed a wedding and stepped back from photography for the 2021 year. Stepping back from photography in 2021 allowed me to invest in family time. During 2021, my family also relocated to the Aiken, SC area. Right as school was starting in the fall, my family caught COVID and had a difficult recovery back into reality. Overall, 2021 presented to be long adjustment into a new life adventure/transition.

I am prayerful and hopeful that this will be the best photography year yet!
